Not everyone is comfortable with computers and not everyone has the time to
build a website: A
survey in 2008 by BT showed that a massive 48% of UK small businesses didn't
have a website and that almost a quarter had no marketing strategy at all! To
address this, BT, Google, Skills UK and a number of other partners got together
under the banner of "Getting British Business Online" (GBBO), which aimed to
give qualifying companies their own hosting, website and domain name for 2
years. This is provided completely free of charge by GBBO, and to date over
50,000 businesses have taken the opportunity of getting their first foothold on
the World Wide Web.
We work in partnership with GBBO, providing free information about the project.
As a GBBO partner we offer our services for a
one-off fee of only £99. This pays for our time whilst
setting up your site on your behalf. The site will be registered initially under
our name, but will be transferred to you ASAP, usually within 1 week.
This package is ideal for a small business or new start-up, looking to get their business
online. Many B&Bs, tradesmen, pubs and clubs find this an ideal starting point.
As your business grows you can increase the level of sophistication of your
website. Obviously there will be a charge for this, if you use us to carry out
the work, but we can guarantee that you'll find our prices hard to beat!

text, images, advertising, etc.
